Faris Lee rolled out FLI Exchange, an online “trading floor”aimed at accelerating the sales process, especially 1031 exchangers who have a fixed deadline. Buyers or their brokers — even those not affiliated with Faris Lee — can visit the exchange, lay out parameters for what they are looking for and see if they can find a match. For its part, Faris Lee is relying almost exclusively on properties from its database, only occasionally going outside its pool.
