Prior to joining Cohen Commercial, Friedman served as a founding partner of a $500 million private equity fund and as an investment banker in the mergers and acquisitions group of Lazard Freres & Co. Cohen also hired Jonathan Lehr as senior financial analyst. Previously, Lehr worked as an equity research analyst with a New York-based hedge fund.
Stanbery Development opened the 121,087-sq.-ft. Shoppes at Cross Keys in Gloucester Township, N.J.
Tri-land Properties will redevelop the 118,000-sq.-ft. Cherokee South Plaza in Overland Park, Kan. The redevelopment will include the addition of a 15,000-sq.-ft. Walgreens as a new anchor. The project is scheduled for completion in December 2009.
