Hopkins Real Estate and Rockwood Capital Corp. opened Vernola Marketplace, a 385,000-sq.-ft. retail center in Riverside County, Calif.
Champion Retail Associates will develop Twin Maples, a 250,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use center in Homer, Ill. Construction is scheduled to begin in early 2009.
Thomas English Retail Real Estate started construction on Maysville Pointe, a 180,000-square-foot shopping center in Fort Wayne, Ind. The project is scheduled for completion in June.
Glimcher Ventures Southwest, LLC will develop Highland Village, a $100 million, 225,000-sq.-ft. mixed-use center in Roseville, Calif. When completed, the project will feature retail and restaurant space and two Hyatt-affiliated hotels. Construction was scheduled to begin in April. The center will be completed in May 2009.
THF Realty will open phase II of Prairie Center, a 275,000-sq.-ft. power center in Brighton, Colo. The entire project, which will encompass 1,984 acres, is scheduled for completion in 2020.
