Architects, store designers, retailers and contractors came together at the Fairmont Hotel in Chicago this April to celebrate the winners of the 2002 SADI Awards.
Eight awards and three honorable mentions were bestowed in a presentation by SCW Promotions Director Jean Estevez, Publisher Jackie Kandell and Editor-in-Chief Ben Johnson.
The big winner this year was Seattle-based Callison Architecture Inc., which walked away with SADIs for its work on FlatIron Village and Beverly Center. The firm also received the first-ever Grand SADI award for its work on the new NIKEgoddess store concept.
