Chicago - Chicago-based Sears, Roebuck and Co. recently completed a number of renovations of its department stores throughout the country. Grand reopening festivities were held in August for stores at Edgewater Mall in Biloxi, Miss.; South Plains Mall in Lubbock, Texas; Westgate Mall in Amarillo, Texas; Metcalf South Mall in Overland Park, Kan.; Gateway Mall in Lincoln, Neb.; King of Prussia Plaza in King of Prussia, Pa.; Cool Springs Galleria in Franklin, Tenn.; Madison Square Mall in Huntsville, Ala.; Westridge Mall in Topeka, Kan.; Sears Plaza in Lincoln Park, Mich.; Lakeside Mall in Sterling Heights, Mich.; Fairlane Town Center in Dearborn, Mich.; Woodland Mall in Grand Rapids, Mich.; Greenville Mall in Greenville, Miss.; St. Lawrence Centre in Massena, N.Y.; Glenbrook Square in Fort Wayne, Ind.; Newburgh Mall in Newburgh, N.Y.; Summit Park Mall in Niagara Falls, N.Y.; Westgate Village in Toledo, Ohio; Centre at Salisbury Mall in Salisbury, Md.; and East Towne Mall in Madison, Wis. New Sears stores were scheduled to open last month at Northwoods Mall in Peoria, Ill., and Hickory Point Mall in Forsyth, Ill., and this fall at Miami Valley Centre Mall in Piqua, Ohio. The interiors of each store were created by FRCH Design Worldwide, a New York-based architectural firm.
