There's a new type of 3-D movie on the horizon: It's the 3-Delivery option. Academy Award winner Steven Soderbergh (Traffic, Ocean's Twelve) and 292 Entertainment will simultaneously release movies in theaters and on television and DVD. Soderbergh is set to direct six movies for 292, partly owned by colorful Dallas Mavericks owner Mark Cuban. The first, a murder mystery called Bubble, will be released in Landmark Theaters and on 292's high-definition cable channel. Theater owners fear that altering traditional release schedules will cannibalize box-office sales.
