Now that Abercrombie & Fitch has scrapped its racy magalog, analysts suggest the retailer hire a celebrity endorser for its spring 2004 ad blitz, like Gap did with its successful Madonna campaign. Which stars could help the chain get back in the good graces of concerned parents? Squeaky-clean singers Clay Aiken and Charlotte Church might do the trick. Both represent the antithesis of Abercrombie's libidinous reputation. Or maybe the TV character Joan of Arcadia would do. She talks to God, after all.
Clay Aiken
