New York, Buenos Aires and Shanghai rank one, two and three as top cities for expansion, according to The European Monitor, a survey taken by 500 top European executives by New York-based Cushman & Wakefield.
"Major corporations in Europe and throughout the world are expanding their global operations," says John Coppedge III, Cushman & Wakefield's executive vice president of international operations
Among other key findings: - For the fourth year in a row, London remains the favorite city for business in Europe, followed by Paris and Frankfurt, Germany.
- Germany is the best manufacturing location, followed by Spain and Poland.
- Spain's Barcelona and Madrid rank at the top for "quality of life."
