Construction begins on home furnishings retail center in California

Orange, Calif. – Locally based Grubb & Ellis Co., HomeCenter Ontario’s marketing agent, announced that construction has begun on the 130,000-sq.-ft. retail center located in Ontario, Calif. The project is approximately 70 percent leased to tenants such as Levitz Furniture, Krause’s Sofas, Thomasville, Arizona Leather, Mattress Discounters and others.

HomeCenter Ontario is slated to open in Fall 2001, and it is a development of Laguna Hills, Calif.-based Soledad Canyon LLC and Irvine, Calif.-based GME Development.
