NEW JERSEY—Cushman & Wakefield Inc. has named Leslie E. Smith as a senior director. Smith will be based in the company’s Morristown office.
For Smith, the appointment marks a return to Cushman & Wakefield, where he served with the firm’s client solutions group from 1986 to 2002. Most recently, he was land acquisition manager for K. Hovnanian Homes where he was responsible for developing new opportunities for residential development.
“Les is a professional with more than 25 years of expertise in all areas of real estate,” said Gualberto (Gil) Medina, executive managing director, Cushman & Wakefield of New Jersey. “He will be working directly with me on several special projects, including a company-wide integration initiative that will enhance collaboration among service lines and brokerage teams. He will also be supporting the team working on the Fort Monmouth project involving the sale or lease of the 1,200-acre former U.S. Army base, and for which Cushman & Wakefield has been selected as master broker.”
Smith is a graduate of Northeastern University.
