Seattle – Nordstrom Rack, the off-price retail division of locally based Nordstrom Inc. signed a lease agreement to open a new store at CityPlace in Long Beach, Calif. CityPlace is part of a revitalization effort to create an urban village covering eight square blocks at the former Long Beach Plaza site. The 30,000-sq.-ft. store is scheduled to open in 2002.
