Bentonville, Ark. – Sam’s Club, a division of locally based Wal-Mart Stores Inc., has teamed with Fleetwood Enterprises Inc. to sell homes at discounted prices through its stores in nine states. Fleetwood, a manufactured housing company, and Sam’s Club plan to sell nearly 200 house models in Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Kansas, Louisiana, Missouri, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.
Prices for the homes range from $25,000 to $100,000. Consumers that purchase a home through Sam’s Club will receive a $600 shopping card to be used in its stores.
