PLANO, Texas - J.C. Penney Co. announced plans today to launch an Internet gift registry that will enable customers to create wish lists on their home computers or inside JCPenney stores.
The joint venture with Event411.com - a supplier of online event planning tools for corporations - will debut next month, J.C. Penney announced. Customers will be able to use the service to register online for select items from Penney's stores, website and catalog.
