Lockard Cos., Dolphin Ventures and EWB Development closed on an all-cash acquisition of a 74-acre land tract in Robstown, Texas that will become The Outlets at Corpus Christi Bay.
“Acquiring the land validates that this project is going to happen,” said Peter Edelmann, principal with EWB Development, in a statement. “We’ve been planning for this day for many years and now that it has arrived, we are thrilled to be bringing a great new shopping experience to the region. Launching this center reflects the strength of the residential and tourist market in the Coastal Bend and that the outlet industry is even more robust now than it was when we first announced the project.”
