NEW YORK–Life Time Fitness has purchased One Gannett Drive, a 232,000-sq.-ft. office/distribution building situated on 24 acres in Harrison, N.Y. NAI James E. Hanson, based in New Jersey, in conjunction with its partner NAI Friedland, represented Life Time Fitness in the acquisition of the former Gannett printing press operation site.
NAI Hanson Senior Vice President Kenneth D. Lundberg and NAI Friedland Executive Directors Carl Silbergleit and Ellen Benedak represented LTF Real Estate Company — trading as Life Time Fitness — in the purchase. The building’s seller, Gannett Satellite Information Network Inc., was represented by the CBRE team of Vice Chairman Jeffrey R. Dunne, Senior Vice President William V. Cuddy Jr., Senior Vice President Steven P. Bardsley and Senior Associate Kevin Langtry.
Life Time Fitness, which operates 105 health clubs throughout North America, plans to demolish the building in order to construct a fitness facility, slated to contain more than 200,000 sq. ft. Once completed, it will be one of Life Time’s largest facilities.
