PLAINSBORO, NJ—Onyx Equities LLC and Artemis Real Estate Partners have formed a joint venture partnership to acquire Plainsboro Plaza, a 218,600-sq.-ft., grocery-anchored class-A retail property in Plainsboro, N.J.
Current tenants at the retail property include CVS, Hallmark Cards, Dunkin Donuts and more. The grocery space was recently vacated, but will be re-tenanted in the near future.
Constructed in 1987, Plainsboro Plaza is located at the intersection of Scudder’s Mill and Schalks Crossing Road off Route 1 in the Princeton submarket.
“Taking into account the positive economic development that Plainsboro has experienced in recent years, including the opening of a new hospital and a new town center, we view this acquisition as a strategic entrance into an increasingly affluent community,” said Stephen Sullivan, SVP of Onyx Equities.
