CINCINNATI—Steiner + Associates and Bucksbaum Retail Properties said Wednesday that Cobb Theaters will bring a new concept to help anchor its $300 million, Liberty Center project here.
The CineBistro theater will be 82,000 sq. ft. with 2,200 seats in 16 theaters. Six of the theaters will feature the full CineBistro experience, characterized by a chef-driven menu, seat-side dining and a full bar and extensive wine list. These theatres are 21 and over, with the exception of special events. The other 10 theatres will feature versions of the CineBistro concept and still offer restaurant-quality food and premium adult beverages.
CineBistro joins Dillard’s as one of two anchors already announced for the 1.1-million-sq.-ft. retail center, which is scheduled to open in 2015. A third anchor will be announced in the coming weeks, according to Steiner officials. The 64-acre site is located at the newly constructed $55 million interchange at Interstate 75 and State Road 129. The project is expected to include multifamily options and a 150-room hotel.
“We promised Liberty Township and Butler County that we would deliver the most upscale movie experience in the state of Ohio,” said CEO Yaromir Steiner in a statement. “Based on the company’s track record and our conversations, we are confident that we are delivering on that promise. This theatre will be unlike anything this market has ever experienced.”
