CHICAGO—Three hotels will open in one 16-story building in the River North neighborhood here on Thursday: The Aloft Chicago City Center, Fairfield Inn & Suites Chicago Downtown/River North and Hyatt Place Chicago/River North.
The 657-room property at 515 N. Clark St. is the product of developers Friedman Properties and White Lodging. U.S. Bank financed the construction with a $94.2 million loan. The developers reportedly put the property up for sale in March.
The Aloft, a brand of Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, has 272 rooms with a separate lobby at 519 Clark St. The Fairfield has 180 rooms and the Hyatt has 212 rooms. The complex will also include Beatrix, a new restaurant by Lettuce Entertain You.
“We are always seeking out innovative ways to bring exceptional properties and experiences to this neighborhood, and are excited to introduce consumers to this new hotel triplex,” said Jason Friedman, president of Friedman.
