PRESS RELEASE: Starwood Capital Group, Tribeca Associates and Tishman Construction Top Out Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York Ahead Of Schedule

NEW YORK, NY— Project team members from Starwood Capital Group, Tribeca Associates and Tishman Construction, an AECOM company, joined hundreds of construction tradespeople today to celebrate the topping out of Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York. Combined with the recent completion of the building’s exterior glass façade, the 50-story glass tower designed by Skidmore, Owings & Merrill continues to take shape ahead of schedule.

Attendees at the ceremony included Starwood Capital Group’s Senior Vice President Gavin Middleton, Tribeca Associates’ Founder and Managing Partner Bill Brodsky and Director of Construction Scott Beadle, as well as Tishman Construction’s President of New York Jay Badame, Executive Vice President Rob DeSanctis, Senior Vice President Frank DeGennaro, Senior Project Manager Robert Lombardi and Senior Project Superintendent Larry Long. 

Located on 53rd Street just off Fifth Avenue across from the Museum of Modern Art, Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York will feature 114 guest rooms designed by Gilles et Boissier and 61 private residences conceptualized by Tony Ingrao that range from one- to four- bedrooms, including four full-floor units and a five-bedroom penthouse duplex with an outdoor loggia. It will also include a standalone 50-foot “crystal bar” pavilion surrounded by an outdoor terrace on the second floor, a full-service 10,000-square-foot spa complete with a 55-foot indoor pool and fitness facility, and a new French concept restaurant located on the street level.

With prices ranging from approximately $3.5 million to $60 million, Baccarat Residences offers layouts from approximately 934 square feet to the 7,381-square-foot penthouse. Baccarat Hotel & Residences New York is scheduled to open in late 2014, coinciding with the brand’s 250th anniversary.
