Turtle Island Foods is currently tracking LEED Platinum certification—a difficult hurdle to achieve for any commercially built project, and even more so for a food-processing facility with large equipment and processing units with high energy consumption—and is set to become the second LEED Platinum food-processing building in the United States and the fifth in the world.
