NEW YORK—Griffon Corporation, a diversified holding company, has appointed Les H. Ireland as president of Ames True Temper (Ames), a provider of non-powered landscaping products.
Previously, Ireland was president of Black and Decker Corporation’s North America in the company’s power tool and accessory group. Since 2011, Mr. Ireland has been on the advisory board of Graham Partners, a home and building products private equity firm.
Since 1774, Ames products have been used by homeowners and professionals. Professional brands of the company include Razor-Back, Jackson and UnionTools.
