Thomas S. Bozzuto / The Bozzuto Group
Thomas S. Bozzuto is CEO of The Bozzuto Group, a company he established in 1988 with John Slidell, Rick Mostyn and the late Bernie Lubcher. In his role as CEO, Bozzuto directs the development, construction and management of income-producing and for-sale housing in metropolitan areas located throughout the East Coast.
In the course of his 40-year career, Bozzuto has overseen and been responsible for the creation of approximately 50,000 residential units with an estimated value of about $7 billion. Prior to forming The Bozutto Group, he served as Mid-Atlantic regional partner with Oxford Development Corp., as well as worked for the James W. Rouse Mortgage Company and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Renewal.
Bozzuto currently serves as a Congressional appointee to the Millennial Housing Commission, is a gubernatorial appointee to the Maryland Housing Commission, is a member of the advisory board and executive committee of the Harvard Joint Center for Housing Policy, is vice president of the board of trustees of the Walters Art Museum and past chairman of the board of the National Multi Housing Council, the Maryland Science Center and the Citizens Planning and Housing Association Inc.
Bozutto holds an undergraduate degree from Hobart College and a master’s degree in metropolitan studies from the Maxwell School of Syracuse University. He served in the United States Army, in Vietnam, in 1969-1971.
David M. Brickman / Freddie Mac
David Brickman became senior vice president of multifamily with Freddie Mac in June 2011. In this position, he is responsible for customer relations, product development, marketing, sales, loan purchases, asset management, capital markets and securitization for the company’s multifamily business. He is a member of the company’s senior operating committee.
Previously, Brickman served as vice president in charge of multifamily capital markets in the multifamily division at Freddie Mac. He is one of the key architects behind several of Freddie Mac’s innovative multifamily financing products, including the capital markets execution, Freddie Mac’s Reference Bill ARM, the fixed-to-float suite of products and performance-based PC.
In the course of his career, Brickman also worked at PwC and served as a financial consultant to the Audit Commission of England and Wales on issues relating to the privatization of public housing.
Brickman holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Pennsylvania, a master’s degree in public policy from Harvard University and a Ph.D. in economics and real estate from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. He is a professional lecturer in finance at George Washington University and an adjunct professor of finance at Johns Hopkins University.
Richard Campo / Camden Property Trust
Richard Campo has served as chairman of the board and CEO of Camden Property Trust since 1993. He began his real estate career with a private real estate firm in Houston, Texas, in 1976, after graduating from Oregon State University. In 1982, Campo co-founded Camden’s predecessor companies. In the course of his career, he has led the development, management, acquisition and disposition of real estate properties valued at more than $10 billion.
In addition to his role at Camden Property Trust, Campo serves on the boards of directors of Central Houston Inc., the Greater Houston Community Foundation and the Greater Houston Partnership. He is chairman of the Houston First Corp., a local government corporation dedicated to facilitating the city’s growth, and is member of the executive advisory board of the University of Houston, C.T. Bauer College of Business. He is also a member of the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts, the National Multi Housing Council and the Urban Land Institute.
Bob Faith / Greystar
Bob Faith, founder and CEO of Greystar, is responsible for the company’s strategic planning and growth. He leads the firm’s investment and operating committees and its advisory board.
Faith founded the company in 1993. Prior to that, he was a co-founder of Starwood Capital Partners L.P., a private investment company. He began his career at Trammell Crow Company and has served as the Secretary of Commerce for the State of South Carolina.
Faith is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council, the Pension Real Estate Association and the Urban Land Institute.
He holds a bachelor’s degree in petroleum engineering from the University of Oklahoma and an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School.
Richard S. LeFrak / The LeFrak Organization
Richard S. LeFrak, chairman and CEO of the LeFrak Organization, a New York City–based privately-held real estate owner and manager, joined the firm in 1968. He was appointed president in 1975. Under his management and guidance, the LeFrak Organization expanded the size of its portfolio to more than 400 buildings and 400 million sq. ft. of space across the U.S., a substantial portion of it developed by the company or in partnership with affiliated firms.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Richard LeFrak leads the LeFrak Foundation, a private philanthropy dedicated to charitable organizations, institutions of higher learning, hospitals, research facilities and cultural programs that encourage the arts.
LeFrak serves on the boards of trustees of the American Museum of Natural History and on the board of directors of the Prostate Cancer Foundation. He has also served on the board of trustees of Amherst College and Trinity School and is a member of the New York State Banking Board and a director of Bank United.
LeFrak holds a bachelor’s degree from Amherst College and earned a J.D. from Columbia University. He also holds an honorary doctorate from Amherst College.
David J. Neithercut / Equity Residential
David J. Neithercut assumed the role of president of Equity Residential in 2005 and became the company CEO in 2006. Starting in1995, he served as Equity Residential’s CFO for nine years, during which time he was responsible for all of Equity Residential’s capital market activities, debt and equity offerings and merger and acquisition activity valued at more than $10 billion.
Neithercut is a member of the board of directors of mall REIT General Growth Properties, a member of the executive committees of the National Multi Housing Council and the National Association of Real Estate Investment Trusts and a member of the Urban Land Institute.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from St. Lawrence University and an M.B.A. from Columbia University Graduate School of Business.
Samuel Ross / WinnCompanies
Samuel Ross joined the Winn organization as CFO in 1993. He became the company’s CEO in 2000, overseeing Winn’s development, investment and management activities, as well the strategic direction of the firm.
Prior to joining Winn, Ross served as executive vice president with Kennedy–Wilson, a Santa Monica, Calif.–based real estate investment banking and marketing firm.
Ross serves on the board of directors of the National Multi Housing Council and is co-chairman of the board of directors of MissionWorks. He is also a member of the Greater Boston Real Estate Board, the Rental Housing Association and the Real Estate Finance Association.
He holds a bachelor’s degree from Boston University and an M.B.A. from Harvard University.
Stephen M. Ross / Related Companies
Stephen M. Ross, chairman and founder of the Related Cos., formed the firm in 1972. Today, the firm employs more than 2,500 professionals and has developed real estate assets valued at more than $22 billion. Ross is also the owner of the Miami Dolphins.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Ross serves on the board of directors of Equinox Holdings Inc. and the executive committee of Lincoln Center. He is a trustee of New York–Presbyterian Hospital and the Guggenheim Foundation, a director of the World Resources Institute and the Jackie Robinson Foundation and chairperson emeritus of the Real Estate Board of New York.
Ross holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Michigan, a J.D. from Wayne State University Law School and a master of laws degree in taxation from New York University. In 2011, the University of Michigan awarded him an honorary doctor of laws degree.

Darcy A. Stacom, vice chairman of investment properties institutional group with CBRE, had been crowned the “Queen of the Skyscrapers” by the Wall Street Journal in 1997. In the course of her career, she has completed more than $60 billion in sales, financing, joint venture, leasehold and development transactions and was involved in such landmark deals as the $5.4 billion sale of Peter Cooper Stuyvesant Town.

David P. Stockert / Post Properties
David P. Stockert became the CEO of Post Properties in 2002. He joined the company in 2001 as president and COO.
Previously, Stockert served as senior executive officer at two other publicly traded REITs. He has a background in investment banking and public accounting.
Stockert currently serves as chair of the board of directors of Central Atlanta Progress and Georgia Apartment Industry Education Foundation. In the past, he chaired the board of directors of the Buckhead Coalition, the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and the Citizens for Transportation Mobility, as well as working with the National Multi Housing Council and the YMCA of Metro Atlanta. In addition, he has served on the government affairs committee of the Atlanta Apartment Association.
