PARSIPPANY—Jones Lang LaSalle kicked off a “Tenants Go Green” initiative last week at Morris Corporate Center III in Parsippany.
On Friday, tenants and members of public gathered in the atrium between Buildings B & C of the class-A office complex to partake in a green fair. A celebration of Earth Day, the green fair featured 20 local vendors showcasing green products and services.
Representatives from the New Jersey Clean Energy Program were on hand to provide information on energy reduction programs and incentives, while demonstrating efficient lighting alternatives. Attendees were also treated to samples of sustainable food and beverages provided by local markets and eateries.
Part of a master-planned corporate office development, Morris Corporate Center III is a 540,000-sq.-ft. suburban complex that is located at the four-way interchange Interstates 80 and 287 and Routes 202 and 46. Jones Lang LaSalle has been the exclusive leasing agent and property manager for the building since December of 2007, and began implementing energy efficiency measures at the site in 2008. The “Tenants Go Green” initiative is the latest effort in the firm’s ongoing campaign to make the building more environmentally friendly.
