Just when it seemed that the long-awaited American Dream project in the New Jersey Meadowlands was about to become reality, a new problem emerged.
The New York Times reports that the Giants and the Jets filed a lawsuit against the Triple Five Group, the project's most recent developer, over its refusal to close the mall on game days, when it would interfere with traffic leading to the MetLife Stadium. If Triple Five would agree to the teams' proposal, it would have to close the mall for about 20 days every year.
