Simon Property Group has grown into the largest real estate company in the country, according to the Indianapolis Business Journal.
Simon, which controls the largest regional mall portfolio and the largest outlet centers portfolio in the U.S., in addition to numerous overseas properties, is the only real estate company listed on Standard & Poor's 100 index, a list which includes such global giants as Coca-Cola and McDonald's.
