NAIOP NJ Lends a Hand to Community Food Bank

NEW JERSEY—On Friday, July 13, NAIOP New Jersey will team up with the Community Food Bank (CFB) of New Jersey to host a food drive and volunteer day. It is the third year that the partnership will set out to collect food and cash donations for the CFB together.

In 2011, NAIOP New Jersey members assisted the CFB by contributing more than 1,000 pounds of food, plus cash donations through collections at their respective offices, at association events and through a Virtual Food Drive.

CFB, a designated 501(c)(3) charitable organization, supplies food to 1,500 soup kitchens, food pantries, shelters, after-school programs and senior centers across the State of New Jersey.

NAIOP New Jersey members are collecting food donations at their places of business and making monetary donations. NAIOP NJ volunteers will spend the day at the Food Bank in Hillside on July 13 until 3:00 p.m.
