The worst-kept secret in Baltimore real estate is finally official. M&T Bank announced Thursday that it is moving its mid-Atlantic headquarters to the new 28-story tower at 1 Light St in late 2018. The bank announced that it has signed a 15-year lease with two five-year renewal options to occupy 155,000 square feet across six floors in the building and will also open a full-service branch on the tower's first floor at the corner of Light and Redwood streets.
