ISELIN, N.J. -- Sperry Van Ness, based in Iselin, has completed to industrial transactions accounting for a total of 245,000 sq. ft. The deals include the sale of a 172,000-sq.-ft. building in New Brunswick, and a 73,000-sq.-ft. lease in Lakewood.
In New Brunswick, Healthy Food Brands has acquired the 172,000-sq.-ft. 122 Quentin Ave. for $3.268 million for 122 Quentin LLC, a New York-based real estate investor. The seller was represented by Doug Richter and Ian Grusd of SVN. The buyer, a marketer of confectionary products, will move from Commack, N.Y. and create an estimated 250 jobs at its new location.
In Lakewood, Ocean County, CrystalWare has signed a long-term lease for 73,000 sq. ft. at 601 Prospect St., in a transaction again orchestrated by Richter and Grusd. The company, a maker and importer of disposable janitorial products, will consolidate their warehouse operations, currently located in Brooklyn, N.Y., and Edison, N.J.
