Duke University is moving forward on a new, 102,000-square-foot, five-story building that will house its School of Nursing, along with its School of Medicine’s Doctor of Physical Therapy program and Department of Orthopedic Surgery. The new building – slated to be complete in fall 2019 – received approval Nov. 2 from Duke’s Board of Trustees. But the project’s been in the works for about a year, says David Bowersox, associate dean of Finance and Administration for Duke's School of Nursing.
