NEW JERSEY—Crown Properties has inked two new leases totaling approximately 25,000 sq. ft. at its Perryville Corporate Center in Clinton. Both tenants are relocating their headquarters to the 280,000-sq.-ft., Class A site.
CBRE Senior Associates Patricia Riedel and John Goodwin handled the transactions on behalf of the ownership, Crown Properties.
Malick & Scherer signed a 13,741-sq.-ft. lease at Perryville Corporate Center, which it will relocate to from 295 Route 22 in Whitehouse Station. Goodwin also represented the tenant, a firm of consulting engineers, construction inspectors and land surveyors in the transaction.
The second lease signed at Perryville Corporate Center was by Marsulex Environmental Technologies to occupy 11,371 sq. ft. Vice President Lee Barnes and Principal Peter Blanchard of Garibaldi represented the tenant, which provides air pollution control systems and services that minimize pollutants and acid gas from emissions of electric utilities, petrochemical and general industrial customers. The company is relocating from Lebanon, Pa.
Crown Properties purchased Perryville Corporate Center after which it embarked on a renovation and leasing campaign that brought the property up to 70 percent occupancy. In 2010, Ikaria Therapeutics leased the entire third floor to become the anchor tenant. Other tenants at the property include Hatch Mott MacDonald and Enperion.
Perryville Corporate Center offers tenants a full-service cafeteria, fitness center, conferencing capabilities, walking trail and basketball and tennis courts. Located off I-78, the property was constructed in 1996 and offers approximately 288,566 sq. ft. of space.
