NEW JERSEY—Jones Lang LaSalle’s annual charity golf tournament, The Higgins Classic, brought in $200,000 to support Special Olympics New Jersey, an organization that provides sports training and athletic competitions to more than 22,000 individuals with developmental disabilities.
To date, the annual tournament, now in its 22nd year, has raised more than $2.2 million for Special Olympics New Jersey.
“Raising in excess of $2.3 million in the past 22 years, The Higgins Classic continues to be one of our signature corporate fundraising events,” said Marc Edenzon, president of Special Olympics New Jersey. “The support of those who come out every year to play in this event allows us to provide life changing sports experiences for our athletes all year round.”
