Iconic MetroWest Building Gets $10 Million in Financing

CHICAGO—Cohen Financial has secured $10 million to finance the MetroWest office building located at 55 Shuman Boulevard in Naperville, Ill. The borrower is a joint venture between Chicago-based Bixby Bridge Capital and Franklin Partners.

Dan Rosenberg, director of Cohen Financial in the Chicago office, secured financing through a regional bank.

The MetroWest office building consists of 10 stories with a façade that resembles the letter “N.” The property was built in 1986 and was designed by Helmut Jahn.

The property offers underground parking, a fitness center, an adjacent hotel and is easily accessed by public transportation. In 2010, MetroWest was awarded Energy Star status for its operating efficiency.
