Washington, DC —All 1,800 employees of Camden Property Trust, one of the largest multi-family REITs in the U.S., are volunteering for charity projects across the country throughout September as part of ‘Camden Cares Month.’ Camden Cares encourages all employees of the REIT to spend at least 8 hours volunteering for a cause that is either Veteran or housing-focused.
The Northern Virginia/DC area project being supported by Camden’s 130 area employees is Operation Homefront www.operationhomefront.net, which provides a variety of support programs and services to returning veterans and their families. On September 25, Camden employees will put their skills to good work, painting two and three bedroom apartments occupied by wounded warriors in Operation Homefront Village, 9936 Shelburne Terrace in Gaithersburg, MD.
For more information on these or other projects Camden will be working on nationwide for Camden Cares month, or to arrange a time to visit one of the events, please contact Andrew Neilly, Gallen.Neilly, (925) 930-9848 or [email protected].
