MINNEAPOLIS – Founders Properties, L.L.C. today announced that Wade Lau has been promoted to president and chief executive officer.
The board of Founders Properties said it is pleased to have Lau assume leadership of the company, citing his 25 years of commercial real estate experience and his instrumental role in the company’s investment and asset management platform for nearly 14 years.
In his expanded role, he will provide the company’s strategic direction and will lead the company’s operations. Previously, Lau was senior vice president at Founders Properties and was responsible for management and operations of the business as well as new investments, dispositions and financing.
Before the formation of Founders Properties, Lau was vice president of asset management for Opus Properties, which he joined in 1999. His experience also includes leading CB Richard Ellis’ central region and serving as chief operating officer for the Shelard Group.
Lau graduated from Harvard College with a bachelor’s degree in economics and earned his MBA from Harvard Business School.
