EVANSTON, Ill. – Oakbrook Terrace, Ill.-based Mid-America Asset Management Inc. recently arranged three new leases for the 212,373-square foot Evanston Plaza on Chicago’s North Shore, according to Mid-America Principal Richard Spinell, whose firm is the exclusive representative for the center.
DaVita, a division of Denver-based DaVita HealthCare Partners Inc., signed a lease for 10,000 square feet, with plans to open in fall 2013 to provide dialysis services to patients with chronic kidney failure and end stage renal disease. The publicly held company provides administrative services at 1,991 outpatient dialysis centers in the U.S. and abroad, as of March 31, 2013.
The US Army & Marines leased 2,424 square feet for a recruitment center.
Private franchise Papa Romeo’s Pizza signed a lease for 1,464 square feet. The Chicago-based pizzeria, offering dine-in, pick-up and delivery, currently lists four locations including the one in Evanston.
Evanston Plaza is located on the southwest corner of Dempster Street and Dodge Avenue in Evanston, Ill., a North Shore suburb of Chicago. Dominick’s anchors the regional center.
Mid-America Principal Marget Graham represented the landlord in all three leases, while Eddie Levin with JCI Real Estate Alliance represented DaVita. The other tenants were self-represented.
