NEW YORK—Savanna has welcomed two new tenants to its 80 Broad Street property, which, taken together, occupy more than 11,000 sq. ft. of space at the building.
In the first transaction, Mobotix Corp., a video security software company, has signed a new lease to occupy 7,840 sq. ft. on a portion of the seventh floor for a seven-year term. Mobotix, based in Germany, was represented by David Young and Scott Sloves of CBRE, while Savanna was represented by Hal Stein, Adam Leshowitz and Todd Stracci of Newmark Grubb Knight Frank.
In the second transaction, Foundation Fighting Blindness, a national non-profit organization, has signed a 3,345-sq.-ft. lease to occupy a portion of the 33rd floor for a seven-year term. Established in 1971, Foundation Fighting Blindness is the world’s leading private source for retinal disease research funding. The same Newmark Grubb Knight Frank team represented the landlord in the transaction, while Ben Nottingham of Studley, Inc. represented the tenant.
