JBG Smith to Establish New Headquarters After Merger

The company, set to become publicly-traded later this month, will re-located to a new building in downtown Bethesda.

JBG Smith Properties plans to establish its headquarters in a new trophy building to be developed in downtown Bethesda, about 2 miles from what's now The JBG Cos.' headquarters in Chevy Chase. The announcement comes as JBG Smith, the combination of JBG with the D.C. business unit of Vornado Realty Trust (NYSE: VNO), prepares to become a publicly traded company later this month.
