The convention started on an unusual note, with a rainy day in Las Vegas in May, a virtually unheard of occurrence this time of year. But the weather outside was certainly not indicative of the mood inside the Las Vegas Convention Center, where the floor was packed and everyone had a calendar full of appointments.
