Jamestown sold 999 Peachtree, a 620,000-sq.-ft. class-A office tower in Atlanta, to Franklin Street Properties for $157.9 million.
The 28-story building is currently 94 percent occupied. Atlanta-based law firm Sutherland serves as the anchor, with other tenants including Gensler, Oxford Industries, Clothing Warehouse, En Paris and Empire State South. The property is LEED Silver-EB certified.
Jamestown acquired the tower in 2007. Eastdil Secured represented the firm in the current transaction.
“Jamestown has committed significant energy and resources to 999 Peachtree, and we are proud of the success it has become today,” said Jamestown CEO Matt Bronfman in a statement. “Our achievements in restoring the asset to true class-A status, combined with the strong capital markets environment for core assets, made it an enticing acquisition for FSP.”
