Banks are showing new signs of a recovery as debt is flowing into the marketplace. Tom Melody reviews the fundamentals influencing liquidity in the market as money flows into real estate from life companies, CMBS players, and the agencies, Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac. There is still a lot of outstanding debt in the market and most of those loans will have a hard time refinancing existing mortgages.
Tom expects increasing note sales as the banks continue to take reasonable losses and move product into the market.
