What Would Make Xanadu Meadowlands More Appealing?

One of the prominently-featured stories on the New York Times website today is about the ugliness of the design at Xanadu Meadowlands, the ill-fated entertainment/retail mega-complex in New Jersey. Do you think it has a future and what steps do you think should be taken to ensure the property's long-term success?
