Whole Foods Aims for 1,200 Stores Across the U.S.

Upscale grocery chain Whole Foods seems to have ambitions for major growth domestically. Analyst blog Zacks reports the chain's executives would like to eventually operate 1,200 stores domestically, a portfolio about two thirds larger than Whole Foods' existing fleet.
