SAN JOSE, CA—InvenSense Inc. has leased 130,000 sq. ft. at 1745 Technology Dr. in San Jose, Calif. The long-term office lease will give InvenSense a large portion of the 228,000-sq.-ft. building owned by Equity Office. The lease details were not disclosed.
“1745 Technology Drive represented an opportunity for InvenSense to get a ‘best in class’ building with significant image at a discount to the new development pricing in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale,” said Todd Hedrick, senior vice president of leasing with Equity Office. “We are confident that companies will continue to see opportunity in the San Jose market as pricing tightens to the north.”
In August, the Sunnyvale, Calif.-based company will move into floors one through five. With offices in Taiwan, Japan, Korea, China and Dubai, this facility will serve as InvenSense’s new corporate headquarters.
