Stay Off My Turf

A squirrel at a shopping center in Port St. John, Fla., did not take kindly to customers treading on its turf. “I've never seen one act like that,” Carol Williams told WESH-2 News. A woman walked into the CVS at the center with the squirrel clinging to her leg. It finally jumped off her, onto another customer and then onto a store employee. Local authorities said the squirrel probably just thinks the shopping center is his territory. It hangs out at the Quizno's a lot, and it's often seen at the Blockbuster in addition to the CVS.
