SPRINGFIELD, MO.—The University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center in Springfield, will kick off construction of its new on-site, full-service day spa next month.
Set to open in September and operated by Grove Spa, the 1,100-sq.-ft. facility will be Grove Spa’s second Springfield location and will be situated on the hotel’s main floor.
The Grove Spa at University Plaza Hotel will accommodate individuals and groups, including walk-ins and appointments. The self-contained facility will include three massage/skincare rooms, four pedicure stations and three manicure stations. A full menu of luxurious skin, body treatments and makeovers will be offered.
In addition to the spa construction, the University Plaza Hotel and Convention Center’s open-air atrium is undergoing renovations. Updates to the space include new eco-friendly skylights, which will reduce energy costs. In addition, atrium greenery will be replaced and updated.
