NEW JERSEY—Cambridge Security Services is relocating its headquarters andcommand center to Newark from Manhattan. The company will occupy 10,000 sq. ft. of space at 1100 Raymond Avenue/90 Mulberry Street in downtown Newark.
The relocation from Manhattan to Newark is expected to generate approximately 200 new jobs.
“We took a long, hard look at what was best for our clients and our company, and we ended up relocating here, in my old home town,” said Stanley C. Czwakiel, president, Cambridge Security. “That’s a good feeling.”
Cambridge officers at the new command center will use digital camera systems, a communications network and a new satellite-driven tour system to communicate in real time.
