Columbia Bank Appoints Alex Grinewicz COO

FAIR LAWN—Alex Grinewicz has been appointed senior executive vice president, chief operating officer, at Columbia Bank.

Grinewicz joined Columbia Bank in 1986 as a commercial lender and was promoted to senior commercial lending officer a year later. He was later promoted to vice president, loan review (1988), to director of internal loan review (1989) and to vice president, commercial lending officer (1990). Grinewicz became vice president, special assets in 1991 and was appointed executive vice president, chief lending officer in 2001.

Grinewicz currently serves as a member of the board of directors of TICIC Inc., a trade association network that provides long-term financing for affordable and senior citizen housing throughout New Jersey.
