Inland Comes to the Coast with East Windsor Acquisition

NEW JERSEYOak Brook, Ill.-based Inland Real Estate Acquisitions Inc. has acquired the Elementis Worldwide Global Headquarters building in East Windsor, N.J. for $17.6 million.

Joe Cosenza, president of Inland Real Estate Acquisitions and a vice chairman of The Inland Real Estate Group Inc., facilitated the transaction on behalf of Inland Diversified Real Estate Trust Inc.

The property, which totals 65,552 sq. ft. of office and laboratory space is 100 percent occupied by Elementis Worldwide. The company, which produced chromium chemicals, is on a new 15-year lease and relocated 125 employees to the property from its former Highstown, N.J. headquarters.

Elementis Worldwide is a wholly owned subsidiary of Elementis plc, a U.K.-listed global specialty chemicals company with operations worldwide.
