Weichert Hires Three New Associates

MORRIS PLAINS—Weichert Commercial has added three associates to its corporate headquarters central New Jersey office. Joining the Weichert Commercial team are Vice Presidents Steven Tenenbaum and Jonathan Younghans and Senior Vice President, Donghyun “David” Yi.

Steven Tenenbaum has joined Weichert Commercial’s central New Jersey team as Vice President, with over 25 years of experience in commercial real estate sales and leasing. Tenenbaum’s expertise includes all aspects of leasing, purchasing and selling investment, multifamily, office and retail properties throughout central New Jersey. Prior to joining Weichert Commercial, Tenenbaum served as assistant vice president with Gebroe-Hammer Associates for 17 years.

Jonathan Younghans has joined Weichert Commercial’s Morris Plains corporate headquarters team as vice president, specializing in all aspects of leasing, purchasing and selling commercial properties throughout northern New Jersey. Prior to joining Weichert Commercial, Younghans spent more than 20 years as owner and president of an Edison based manufacturing company specializing in technical ceramics. After the sale of the manufacturing business, Younghans managed the redevelopment of the former plant site into an approved multi-use commercial site before selling the property in 2007. In addition, Younghans has experience in the acquisition and management of commercial and residential investment properties.

Donghyun “David” Yi has also joined Weichert Commercial’s Morris Plains corporate headquarters team as senior vice president. Yi brings with him over 25 years of experience in corporate advisory services, site acquisition, landlord representation and tenant representation.

Prior to joining Weichert Commercial, Yi served as President at G.R.E.D. & Investment Corporation. In this position, Yi managed the Company’s United States and South Korea operations. Yi has also served as Senior Vice President with Eastern International Realty, Inc., Vice President at Grubb & Ellis Company and Managing Director at Charles Klatskin Company.
