JLL Tapped to Lease, Manage 19 West 44th Street

NEW YORK—Deka Immobilien has selected Jones Lang LaSalle to serve as the exclusive commercial office leasing agent, property manager and project manager for 19 West 44th Street. In this role, Jones Lang LaSalle will be responsible for leasing and marketing, property management and project management services for the 292,968-sq.-ft. office building.

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Barbara Winter and Bill Korchak, executive vice presidents, will lead the team in this assignment, while property management services will be overseen by Matt Duthie, managing director, with Matthew Kirby-Smith serving as general manager of the building. Project management services will be headed by Eric DeSimone, senior project manager.

The Jones Lang LaSalle team will work with Real Estate Capital Partners, the asset manager of the building.

Located between Fifth and Sixth avenues in Midtown Manhattan, 19 West 44th Street is in close proximity to Bryant Park and Grand Central Terminal. The property was built in 1917 and was designed by Starrett & Van Vleck.

Deka Immobilien plans a capital improvement program for the building, to include pre-built units, upgrades to the lobby, entry and infrastructure.
